Devon Chase, co-founder of O7 Tech and software engineer in Connecticut
I'm Devon Oscar Chase. I run
O7 Tech, a software design and
engineering firm in Connecticut, where I'm the engineer on client
platforms that are in production today: mobile, web, and the systems
underneath them. I built and sold my first product at 19.
Current work
- Heavy-haul logistics platform: sole founding engineer on an on-demand equipment transport platform in React Native. Architecture specification, design token system, component library, and a live map migrated off Google Maps onto MapLibre and OpenFreeMap.
- OSHA compliance automation: an ongoing retained engagement replacing a five-product stack, Airtable, Zapier, Luma, SafetyCulture and Trainual, with one system carrying real compliance workflows and real audit trails.
- O7 Tech: dispatch platforms, compliance systems, booking and inventory tools and internal dashboards for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf software. Flat quotes, weekly demos, no hourly meters.
Built and sold
- Racr: an automotive AI assistant and social platform. Built alone, grown, and sold. I was 19.
- FreeGPT: one of the first open chat-based GPT front-ends, with 11,000+ users in 48 hours.
How I build
Every engagement runs on an AI-native workflow. I hold the
architecture and the review, and implementation runs agent-driven and
in parallel across workstreams, which is how a two-person firm ships
at the pace of a much larger one.
Other work
- Syvert Security: brand, design and build for a managed cybersecurity firm, and the cybersecurity-side brand of O7 Tech.
- Client sites including ct-es.com and connscreen.com.
